Show up on Monday, April 17th at 5:30 pm at Milford City Hall. Attend the ONLY public hearing for the proposed budget. This is the last time for public comment. We need to TRIPLE the turnout over this week. Commit to attend, make a comment and bring a friend.
- 5:30 – Bring creative signs and WEAR RED. Bring your kids, spouses, friends and neighbors.
- 6:00 – We’ll head to the hearing together. YOUR STORY IS POWERFUL! Milford residents are allotted 3 minutes to speak (speaking is completely optional!). Talk about why this matters to you, what you value about Milford schools and the impact of any cuts.
Our voices are being heard. Board members are paying attention and doing their due diligence. Keep going! For inspiration, see the fact sheet/talking points and FAQs.

We are voters. Safeguard our schools!

P.S. Tips for signs: Use foam board or cardboard. It is easier to hold up and wave. Put messages on both sides of the sign. Short, bold, bright messages are best! Use thick markers. Don’t forget a handle. Use lumber, a paint stick or a dowel.
