Please come to a Public Hearing with the Board of Aldermen on Thursday, April 7 at 7pm at City Hall.

Comments will be heard from any citizen regarding the 2016 Budget for the City of Milford and and Board of Education as presented by the Board of Finance. Don’t miss this opportunity to support our schools.

Last month, The Board of Finance  reviewed all budgets for city departments as well as the Board of Education.  The Board of Finance voted to cut $175,000 from the Board of Ed Budget.
Details on cuts may be found in the Milford Mirror article.

Once budget cuts are made by the Board of Finance, only a two-thirds majority of the Board of Aldermen can restore funding.

This is an important time to show your support and ask our city to fully fund the Board of Education budget and to restore $175,000 of cuts made by the Board of Finance.
